Fletcher’s Two Peak Challenge

On Saturday 5th July Fletcherwill be setting off on an epic 2 Peak Challenge  to raise funds for new playground equipment. Please use the QR code to find his Just Giving page. 

“I would like to raise money to go towards the school playground as alot of the equipment has recently been removed due to its age and Friends charity is trying to raise funds to replace it.

I have enjoyed my time at Baschurch and playing outside with all my friends and I want to give something back to show my appreciation and allow other children to carry on enjoying what we had.

Please sponsor me, I am doing my hike on Saturday 5th July.”

KS1 Clubs

There are no after school clubs for KS1 this term.

However there are lunch time clubs available for the younger years which you don’t need to sign your child up to.

Miss Clough runs a Maths club on Thursday lunch time which is supported by a group of year 4 children.

Every lunch time Playground stars run various structured activities for KS1 children.

Important Information for Reception class

Dear Parents and carers of reception children,

Mrs Andrew has been waiting for a date for an operation and it has finally come through for this week! She isn’t very happy with the timing, as she is so excited to get started with her lovely new class. However, this has been cancelled twice before, so she cannot afford to turn it down, as I’m sure you will understand. We anticipate that Mrs Andrew will be off for two weeks and we have an experienced reception teacher, Mrs Edwards, lined up to start with us tomorrow. Mrs Hillidge will continue to teach reception on  Mondays  and Mrs Edwards will teach Tuesday to Friday, starting tomorrow.

Thank you so much for your understanding. We will keep you up to date with any further changes if they are necessary.

Reception Class Settling In Meetings

We will be holding some ‘Settling In Meetings’ for Reception class on Tuesday 3rd October and Thursday 5th October.  A letter with more information will be sent home with children this afternoon.

Reception Nativity Tickets

All tickets for the Reception Nativity tomorrow will be sent home in children’s book bags this afternoon.  If you haven’t yet paid for your tickets, please do so via the School Gateway as soon as possible.  Thank you.
