A Super Week 3⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well done to all the children this week. They have been tired but have made it! Here are a few photos of what has been happening.

Today we had Circle Time and talked about sharing using The Rainbow Fish story to help us. We then found our own trays and pencil cases to do some lovely colouring. A calming session on a Friday afternoon. Well done Reception. 🐠 ✏️

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.😊

Important Information 😁

This week your child is welcome to stay from 9.15am-3pm We do still have the flexibility of you picking your child up at 1pm after their lunch if you feel they are starting to find it tiring or a little overwhelming. Please let me know via ClassDojo in the morning if you would like to collect your child at 1pm.
Currently we are offering what we call a ‘Grab and Go’ lunch or your child can bring in their own healthy lunchbox (clearly labelled and contents to be nut free).

We have been talking in class about the options for the Grab and Go and I would appreciate it if you could have a look at what is available, and talk about what choices they could make.

Brown Roll or White Roll or a Wrap
Cheese or Ham or Tuna Mayo or Egg Mayo
Bottle of Water or Apple Juice or Orange Juice or Strawberry Milk or Chocolate Milk
A pot of pasta and a cake/biscuit is also included.

  • cress seeds
  • an egg box, cut into segments
  • water

CRESS CATERPILLAR INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place some cress seeds in each segment of the egg box.
  • Place 3 segments on one plate or tray and 3 on another plate or tray.
  • Add water to all, and place one plate on a windowsill and one in the dark.
  • Water frequently.

The cress should grow within a few days. I did give my ‘in the dark seeds’ a little bit of light to help them grow which is why they are slightly green.
