Year 2 homework

Your child will come home with some spellings and a spelling worksheet. There is also a log-in for Spelling shed on line in the back of their purple homework books.

They could also go on Hit the the Button on the computer for maths work.

As part of our history topic, they might like to research Agnes Hunt. A look around the village, in the cooler hours, will give them clues!

Year 2 homework

All year two children have now got a log in for Education Shed ( spellings and maths) and IDL. Their password details are in the back of their Homework books. They can access these both at school and at home. They might need some help to type in the log in details but with your help they’ll soon get used to it. Have fun using them. Many thanks for your support.

Hi all,

I have sent home all homework books and stuck in a new homework menu for this Half Term. You should also find a copy of the curriculum letter for this term inside.

There are a couple of new tasks on Spelling Shed but the plan is to get back into the full swing of things next week.

Please remember that PE is now on a Monday so children will need to come to school in their kit.

Maths 11.11.22

Please see some (optional) additional homework for Y2 this week. We have been looking at addition across 10 and will continue to do so next week. The aim is for the children to be able to reach the next 10 and then add on the remaining amount.
