Welcome

Welcome to the School Website.

Located to the North West of Shrewsbury we are a village school, with a strong Christian ethos, where each child is valued for who they are and what they can become. We federated with Myddle CE Primary School in 2017 and are enjoying the benefits that collaboration brings to our schools.

Mrs Clare Williams Headteacher

We aim for our pupils:

  • to love learning,
  • to desire to be the best they can be,
  • to celebrate the achievements of all,
  • to know how to behave well

         and

  • through developing self-esteem have the confidence to try new experiences and opportunities.

We hope and expect the pupils to leave with a ‘joyful anticipation of the future’.

In order to achieve this we have inspirational teachers who expect high standards and lead by example, additional specialist teachers who provide that little extra in sport, music and languages and we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities. The pupils are all expected to take part in school productions, music events, a wide range of sports and educational visits and residentials in order to help them discover themselves. This is further enhanced by our strong links with other local primary schools, the Corbet Academy next door, All Saints’ Church and Attingham Park (a local National Trust property) as well as the community which we serve.

Baschurch CE (A) Primary School is a busy and friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school with any queries you may have or to make an appointment to visit us – you would be most welcome!

Thank you for visiting.
