New Lunch Menu
There will be new lunch menus after the October half term. Please see the menus below –
Autumn Lunch Menu 2022
The first week back after half term will be Week 1. The dates are listed on each menu.
After half term, the kitchen will no longer be offering baguettes as part of our Grab and Go Bags.
Grab and Go Bags will include –
- A bap or wrap with a choice of ham, tuna or cheese filling
- Carrot & cucumber sticks
- A cake or a cookie
School lunches are £2.30 per day.
All children in Years Reception, 1 and 2 are entitled to a free school meal. Additionally parents on low income can apply for free school meals through Shropshire Council which will then continue to provide extra support for your child throughout their school life. If you think that your child may be entitled, please do not hesitate to contact us or make an application on the following link: https://shropshire.gov.uk/free-school-meals/
Odd Socks Day – Monday 14th November
Monday 14th November to Friday 18th November is Anti-Bullying Week.
Odd Socks Day marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week and it will take place on Monday 14th November. Children should come to school on this day wearing their favourite odd socks!

Friends 100 Club
It’s not too late to sign up to the Friends 100 Club!
If you would like to sign up, please return the attached form to the school office, as soon as possible, with your payment of £10 (the September and October prizes have been drawn already) –
- Cash or cheque (payable to ‘Friends of Baschurch Primary School’) in an envelope marked ‘Friends 100 Club’.

Baschurch Village Hall – Winter Warm Hub & Family Supper
