School News, Class news, events and information
We have several new children and families to our school this year, so it seems timely to send out some information about how you can find out important information and how you can communicate with staff at school.
The School Website
First port of call should always be the School Website.
This is where our administrators put the news, class updates, term dates, events and reminders. On here you can also find out what is going on in each class, see photos of them working, find out about how we teach every subject, our curriculum, our policies and our staff. There is a poster coming home in your child’s bag showing you 3 main features of the website, the most important of which is how to subscribe to the newsletter. If you prefer, you can just read it online by navigating to the news page, but many of you benefit from it arriving in your email every week.

Class Dojo
We used this extensively during lockdown when the teacher’s were working from home and you weren’t coming in to school. However, this should now only be used for quick reminders or updates. It won’t be your main source of information. If you have some concerns, or want to give us some information, feel free to ask on Dojo for an appointment to speak to the teacher. They will then invite you in or phone you, rather than discussing the issues via the app. Please do not be upset if a teacher doesn’t reply to you immediately on Dojo, as I have asked them to be mindful of their well-being and only use it between 8am-6pm.

Young Voices – Tuesday 10th January 2023
Just a reminder that it is the Young Voices concert next week, Tuesday 10th January. A letter with final information about the day was sent home yesterday with children attending the concert.

If you ordered any audience tickets, these can now be collected from the school office. Please collect your tickets before 12.00pm on Tuesday 10th January.
