Our School’s Christian Values – Hope

Our School’s Christian Values – Hope

At Baschurch, our Christian values guide and inspire us each day. This half term, we are focusing on the value of Hope — believing in good things to come, trusting in God’s promises, and having confidence that challenges can be overcome.

Through our worship, lessons and daily interactions, we will encourage children to reflect on hope by:

– Learning from the example of Jesus, who brought hope to others through His words, actions and compassion.
– Exploring why hope is important, especially during difficult times, and how it helps us stay positive and resilient.
– Encouraging children to look forward with confidence, support one another, and recognise signs of hope in everyday life.

We invite you to join us in exploring this value at home by talking about what hope means and how it can help us when things feel challenging. This could include discussing hopes for the future, recognising moments that bring encouragement, and noticing how hope helps us persevere and grow. Please see the link for ideas on how you can explore this value together as a family.
