Parent/carer communication and engagement

Dear all,

One of our big aims this year is to enhance our engagement with our families and local community. We have planned a whole host of events to encourage you into school to see first hand what we are doing. These may include information sessions, open mornings and workshops. Most will be in-person events, but some we will be able to offer via Teams / Zoom to help facilitate more people to attend.

All these things will take time and preparation, so we would love to see as many of you as possible come along. If you have any ideas for what you would like to see, we’d love to know. So far this year we have had a coffee morning for parents of SEND children and ‘mystery readers’ coming into class.

Our next events are:

30th January 3:15: phonics information talk for Reception parents, hosted by Mrs Andrew.

4th February 1:30: Board games with grandparents for year 1 and 2 children, hosted by Mrs Barker

10th February 3:15: SATs information evening for year 6 parents/carers, hosted by Mrs Kovach

13th February 3:15: phonics screening test information talk for year 1 parents, hosted by Miss Clough.

Pop these dates into your diary and there will be more information to follow. Many thanks.
