Three of our caring year 6 girls were so worried about the damage to our trees, that they have started a campaign to raise some money to prevent any secondary damage. They came to me with a poster, a collection tub and had even researched products which could be applied to the tree. The damage had been caused by children outside peeling the bark from the trees, which can cause infection to set in. These girls are not only raising money, but keeping an eye out to make sure no-one else damages the trees. Well done girls, thank you for your caring attitude.
