SCHOOL CLOSURE FRIDAY 9th JANUARY 2026 DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER
Following the Corbet School announcing their closure tomorrow, and the advice from the highways not to drive after early evening tonight, we have made the decision to close the school tomorrow. The majority of our staff live in Wales, border villages or have to use single track roads to get to school. Even if the snow turns out to be less than expected, many of these would still struggle to attend. Our priority is the safety of our staff and pupils.
I have made this decision early to give you more opportunity to plan for the closure.
