Our ‘house groups’ at Baschurch are each named after a bird, such as the Sparrowhawks. Each year your child will ‘fly’ to a new continent and learn lots about the people, places and culture of that continent. The continents are made up of children from every year group and today, the children got a chance to vote for the year 6s who would become their continent leader for the year. Our year 6 children prepared a manifesto and delivered it to the group, and then the children voted for two leaders. It was a really difficult decision, as the year 6s had thought so carefully about how they would make each session interesting, engaging and informative. Well done to those who were voted in and thank you to all the year 6s for their hard work.
